Final Rankings
Posted by LATIGERFAN on 1/1/20 at 11:58 pm284
1. LSU
2. Clemson
3. Ohio St.
4. Georgia
5. Oregon
6. Oklahoma
7. Florida
8. Penn St.
9. Alabama
10. Notre Dame
Pretty impressive to 5 wins over teams ranked in the top ten at the end of the year and Auburn would have been in had they won. And yes, the victory over Clemson is a forgone conclusion. I don’t need to compare games and I’m not worried about giving up 400 yards to Ole Miss, this game is going to be Lawrence vs Burrow, and Burrow wins that one every time.

We will have beaten 5 of the top 10 teams. What a season!

I was looking at this last night. If I’m not mistaken, not only have we currently beaten 4 of these top ten teams, but only trailed for 3:42 combined. (One series vs Florida)

By beating Clemson we will have beaten 12 out of the last 17 national champions (excluding the 2 we won) this year.

Only change is that Florida should be ahead of OU. I don't have a doubt that if they played like they did during the season (and not the bowl) they would beat OU head up. In fact I'm sure that they would also beat Oregon. Oregon was not that impressive in the Rose Bowl.

Pretty sure he's just speculating. But looks about right to me (assuming LSU beats Clemson).
