Just a sad day man, maybe some ppl will believe me when I said it’s the worse roster in her tenure. Leftwich set back the program for yrs. As far as Neal, as of a month ago he was telling a few ppl he had enough and wanted out. The guy is what 30-33? Never been to a WS and is driven to win…dudes like that will only take being around mediocrity for so long. Dobson the real talent evaluator not DEI Leftwich stayed too long…my guess Neal won’t. This program needs a cleansing

Yep, never thought we would lose a 4th seed in a regional in my lifetime, but we have been telling these Beth lovers who kept pointing to the team's RPI that this is not a good roster. And, the pitching has tailed off some this year,so I guess this should not have been that unexpected.
SLU does have a good team and a GREAT coach. Beth probably didn't take a second look at anyone that is on SLU's roster when they were in High School.
They showed her tonight. Good for them. Anything that gets Beth closer to be shown the door is OK with me.

Fremin is good at SELU, the SEC is an entirely different ball game. Zero chance Scott would ever hire him, he damn near begged UL and they said no. The 2026 class is elite with stars all over it, they need to do everything they can to retail those players. From interviews Neal was mostly the lead recruiter, give him a 3 yr deal and let’s see what happens.
