SE is sincerely a solid team. They gave LSU issues the first time they faced them.
People are just tired of the team starting our strong, tanking mid to late season only to finish in the back/middle part of the SEC only to disappoint in post season like usual.

Well, he's been very quiet the last 4 innings, just shaking his head in disgust. BTW, we loss to SLU. Their last pitcher would not even be a good high school pitcher. We hit her hard the last inning, but right at people.
Maci came inches away from a walk-off win. I'm sorry, but Beth has to go. We'll beat Connecticut tomorrow and possible SLU in a re-match. But, there is absolutely no way we beat Nebraska twice.
I'm just hoping she resigns after this weekend. They are not going to fire her this year unless she losses to Conn., then it is a possibility.

To be fair, it wouldn't be near the same in the SEC. Those stats mean nothing when you play different levels of competition.

I am sure there is something to the rumors that Neal wants out of here.
Even if we lost the regional, I don’t think Beth is going anywhere. If I am surprised and she decides to “retire,” I don’t look for SW to spend big money to try and lure a big name here.
Roll the dice and make Neal the HC. He’s definitely improved things with Bergeron, etc. One bright spot is the Dobson effect is gone. Neal might prove to be what this program needs.

Its a sad fact that Tori has struggled mightily since the Texas series. also, our veteran 3rd baseman has not done much in the field and at the plate in the last 10 or 12 games. UCONN can beat us tomorrow if only they bunt. Berzon and Coffey have trouble fielding bunts and also Berzon cannot throw a ball to first base with much accuracy. Of course UCONN pitching may allow enough runs that we can outscore them

LSU lacks power bats. Maci and Tori were 0-5 w some walks. The team behind them doesn’t have much of any chance to hit w power and produce easy runs. Our base running is lazy and our defense was unusually off w some coffee errors and just flat out got out hustled.
