Aw you took the time to find some quote that doesn’t say what you have said it does for a year. Again, I’d be flattered but I don’t swing that way ol chap.

And why cut off the clip?

The quote was talking about Brady’s responsibility for the Saints success the past two seasons.

I then said he wasn’t and compared THE HYPE Brady was receiving to THE HYPE Gonzales received when he came in.

I never said Brady was Billy Gonzales. My point that whole time was they were both huge unknowns, both in what they contributed in the past and what they would contribute going forward.

I didn’t know a fricking thing about Brady and never pretended to unlike those of you who claim to know he was some wunderkind.

And of course you cut off the rest of my thoughts in that thread when I say how great Burrow is and how he is going to tear the schedule up and that everyone will give Brady all the credit

I know, idiotic right!!

FULL POST

quote:

quote:

graduate assistant at Penn St. for 2 years and worked as an offensive assistant for the Saints for 2 more. Now, granted the Saints had an explosive offensive those two years, but does that mean Joe Brady was responsible for that? Maybe he was & maybe he wasn't, I don't know.

Uh, he wasn’t

LINK

Billy Gonzales 2.0

Luckily Burrow is already a finished product at this point. If this guy can just provide some fresh perspective on the red zone approach, it’ll be a huge boost for this offense.

The real test for E, this kid, Cregg, and the rest of O’s offensive staff will be when Urban Meyer’s QB is gone and we have to follow up with a guy developed solely in BR.

And my response to YOU in that same thread you nerd

quote:

quote:
Tell me how he processes things & what he has been able to absorb from those 2. Tell me about his attention to detail.

Why don’t you tell me? I have no idea and neither do you.

quote:
Don’t care if he was in high school. That means absolutely nothing

It means he had nothing to do with their success.

quote:
Every coach has their own story & you want to pigeon hole him into being billy Gonzales. It’s lazy & there’s no connection whatsoever

Gonzales was hired as a passing game coordinator from a very successful system. No connection

You were the one that brought up how it looks “on paper”.

I’m simply saying that doesn’t mean much.

We’ll have to wait and see to judge the hire.

I know that drives you nuts Les, but just hand in there

Championship score of 42 matches Coach O's contract. Man, Chase should have caught that TD and we should have started faster.

That's kind of obvious

But you generally expect more from those who show they can.

I don't know what your issue is anymore

Not speaking for him, but my issue is what if he doesn’t meet those expectations? Are we trapped in another bad contract a la Miles.

The incentive laden deal he signed was perfect for the CEO model. Just don’t see why the huge shift in approach.

He will be obnoxious as hell again this offseason. For some reason hes afraid that Os success taints Miles legacy.

Yes, sure. The longer point was that context matters too. You have to decide what's repeatable and what's lightning in a bottle. It's alot more than simply "we won a championship so we can't overpay". I don't believe you or Salmon have insinuated that, but you've been tied up in the conversation nonetheless.

No surprise you don’t know what the literal definition of “literally” is

Now let’s see a real monkey dance as you search my post history again, what else do you have to do

And here is my later response in that very same thread TO YOU

$799.09 per hour, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, ain't a bad gig if you can get it.

Good for Coach.

It’s also hilarious when nerds like you and Roger consider anyone not posting hundreds of times a day in the same threads over and over again “hiding”

That's not how it works though. It's probably tied to other factors in job performance as well that make a program feel its worth it. The program probably takes in revenue this year, is recruiting at a high level and things like suspensions were handled well. Its more than just a championship, its projecting the future as well.

Name one SEC team that would hire him right now and pay him over 5million/year. Please... give me just one team.

You can’t. Why? Because there isn’t a single one that would and you know it.

So take your little bitch arse on before you make an even bigger fool of yourself than you usually do. Everyone here knows you are a pathetic shill who knows nothing about college sports. You’ve proven that time after time. Now run along little boy. Let the adults talk.

Still don't understand the reasoning behind his hire. I continued to a doubter of it until the Texas game this past year, not that my skepticism counts for shite. Promises made, promises kept. After years of hearing LSU would change the offense, IT had arrived.
For me the SEC champ and Nat champ were just a bonus. Congrats and and thanks to Coach O the players and everyone else involved.
Whoever was involved in making the decision on Coach O, thank you.

Give the man an extension anytime he can win 10 and beat Alabama.
