His coaching sometimes needs to be better and he has to do better.

But if this team is represented by someone else other than wade, the refs would not be calling these made up calls. This team would have won 3/4 more games. Some of these fouls are just ridiculous. He must not be well liked by the refs or they are just spiteful that he got away with what is legal now

Yes and that’s not going to change. LSU has a tough decision to make.

While it was frustrating last night, I still think Wade is doing a decent job. He has no pure shooter in the team. with what he is got, he is doing a decent job. he has players in the right spots to take the shots, he can't help it if they don't go in. Also when players do stupid things that's not on the coach. Sure he can bench them but what alternatives do you have?

When they play well, does he get the credit?

Always blaming the refs

It’s a classic loser mentality.

Instill discipline in the players. Teach smarts.
The players screwed up last night

You tell me. I don't see a single post saying eason or pinsin improved from last year to this year because of the coaching?

Making a point that if Cal or Oats was the LSU coach and LSU would have won the same game. Nothing changes, the same play, same coaching but the name of the coach standing on the sideline

The Dynamics of refs and Wade are part of the variable that went into the outcome of the game.

Life is hard when everyone thinks you're an arse.

Sucks but hard to shake perceptions. As long as the kids respect him I don't care about anything else. But it does make it tougher.

Ok, but it'd be silly to suggest they don't have a major impact on the game. Their judgments can decide the game in key moments.

That’s all on coaching

He’s responsible for recruiting, development, scheme/play.

If they play good all of you say “General Wade”, when they drop games and play bad…meh, he just doesn’t have a true shooter and players do stupid things.

You can teach "IQ" all day long but "IQ" comes from game expirience. This team is very young and the expirience from this year will be invaluable. One example I can think of is Mayes. His freshman year he did some pretty bone headed plays and missed quite a few open lay ups. He was frustrating to watch at times. Also think about Gaines. He is much improved over last year.

when a player makes a single stupid play then yes, that's on the player.

But when the team overall makes stupid plays over and over again, over the course of a season - then that absolutely IS on the coach.

The head coach is responsible for EVERYTHING on the floor. Players, schemes, tactics, discipline, hustle... everything.

Refs hate Wade on the predicate LSU isn’t supposed to be a good basketball team which is a retarded predicate. I’m still waiting for all the junk evidence the NCAA has proving Wade’s a cheater (notwithstanding blue bloods like Duke, North Carolina, and Kansas do this stuff with impunity all the time).

there it is again - the "youth" excuse, which doesn't apply in basketball.

Besides, Pinson and Days are seniors; Eason, Gaines, and Wilkinson are sophomores; and O'Neal is a junior. In basketball, that ain't a young team.
