It would be wonderful If Ali Gaye can become a consistent force on the edge

There’s so many players that could have the season that Clyde edwards had his final year. Emery and TDP are the first 2 that come to mind. So much potential for so many players but haven’t really shown it yet.

I do too. I was excited when he announced his return. He has so much raw talent. Now that he's been in our system a full camp under an NFL coach in Carter, I am hoping he goes beast mode!

It's almost like his mental is off.

He is staying after practice and working on everything so that's good.

I think he was great. He just needs to pace himself, not saying he should sandbag but 3rd down, 4th down he need to dial it in and that needs to be his best effort. Sprinkle in some 1st and 2nd downs in there but I really think he was burned out by end of year. He has such a high. Motor and going all out is what we need but that extra gear that extra effort he needs to be a little more strategic with it

On Brian Thomas Jr. in fall camp: "Brian's made a lot of plays. He's caught a lot of go balls, lot of slants, lot of out routes. He's done a great job of getting off the jam. You know, all the freshmen receivers and all the older receivers are making a lot of plays right now. It's been a lot of fun."

On depth at wide receiver: "Everyone's doing a great job right now. Everybody's making plays. We're spreading the ball around and they're going up and getting it and they're making a lot of plays for us. It's going to be a lot of fun.
