I think mine was in 03'ish when Eli Manning tripped to end the game. I feel like Chad lavalais had a lot to do with it

2014 was great because they were still undefeated and under some kind of delusion they were going to the title game.

2003 100%. People forget how monumental that win was for the program.

I will always fondly remember the 2006 game. LSU was down 20-7 and made a huge comeback. Jamarcus had that double spin 40 yard gain to Dwayne Bowe. I want to say it was 4th down, but I'm not sure.

You damn well know he did! That play was the most memorable to me of that Champ run. Eli was a beast that year.

Yep. We lose and we don't win the SEC title...let alone the natty. Eli falling was beautiful.

That entire season was so much fun.. until well.. you know.

Looking at the scores from that season

Oregon 40-27
Northwestern State 49-3
MSU 19-6
WVU 47-21
UK 35-7
Florida 41-11
UT 38-7
AU 45-10
Bama 9-6
WKU 42-9
Ole Miss 52-3
Arky 41-17
UGA 42-10

Beat the shite out of just about everyone in the regular season.

I have to go back to 1961. Undefeated Ole Miss came into BR ranked #2, but the #1 suffered defeat in the early afternoon, so a win over #6 LSU was certain to give the Rebels the #1 ranking.

Long story short, Wendell Harris scored all 10 points in a 10 to 7 win over the favored Rebels.

Ole Miss had run a train from Oxford for the game, so several of us went over to the train to wish their fans bon voyage.

My favorite play from that game was watching metsiah and his 5.9 40 speed rumble 25 yards on a bootleg to set up that goal line kneel.

When I was but a wee lad my Pops took me to Jackson . LSU was losing 21-0 before coming back to win 28-21 . Another one in the 80s in Jackson stands out when Harvey Williams ran through them . Watching Fournette crush them was great . The game where we made the Ole Miss girl melt ( I hate them ! I hate LSU) was good. Any win over Ole Miss is great .

There was talk of 2011 LSU being the GOAT team before that title game.
