I've been going to home games since 1965. We could park in fields across the tracks for free, and if early park by the Vet school. Now its $50 to park and most of the time a mile away. Plus LSU paid "consultants" to fix traffic patterns, all it did was make it worse. Why do they put together a panel of actual ticket holders that have been coming to games for 30 years and figure it out. I bet it could be solved in minutes for less than paying an outsider a million dollars. Yes there are 30k more people than before but you can't tell me it can't be fixed. Just complete stupidity. We always leave early now and can get home in 30 minutes. If you wait till end of game can take 2+ hours to get home. That's it, Forever LSU. Love me some Tigers just don't go to games often anymore.

These threads all suck. Just shut the Fck up about it and go enjoy the game the way you see fit.

And guess what, the old arse fans who always find something to bitch about said the exact same thing about that fanbase when they left a rainy day/game blowout of a piss poor team. In whatever their version of the internet was like the barber shop, church, coffee shop etc. they said the same frickin thing. Get over it, when a game is a blowout win or loss for that matter, every school in every era had people evacuate early. This year at this school is no exception. Go get a haircut

we need to get off this. It's the same everywhere. Back in the day we weren't competitive paying coaching staffs.

That's how it was in the 80's

Where are people going that it takes them 2+ hours to get somewhere in town after a game? I’ve never ever in my life sat in traffic that long after a game. Do people just suck that bad at navigation?

2 hours is probably being over dramatic. We have always parked by Ceba and live down highland. Instead of fighting the traffic we just tailgated some more and would wait an hour or so before leaving and then it took us about 5-10 min to get home.

The longest I was stuck in traffic was about 45 minutes going south along the levee after last year A&M game. I don't leave until after the Alma Mater is played and generally I'm park by the Alex Box. Traffic is part of going to the game. You're going to get stuck in it going to and from the game. If you're so worry about traffic, just do yourself a favor and watch the game from the comfort of your home.

It takes me 2 hours now, but it's because I moved to NOLA area.

When I lived in BR, it never took me 2 hours, more like 20-30 minutes.

This is exactly right. I was taught by my parents to stay throughout the whole game and so it is what I am teaching my kids. Our kids are watching.... and if you get up and leave they will too later in life. It’s just how it works.

Being at the game this past weekend I won’t blame anyone for leaving early. Late kickoff plus rain was rough. The late kickoff made for a long day of drinking and then to go and stand in the rain.

These threads are pointless.

The day and age of people sitting in the hot arse muggy weather is over.

You can not travel, eat like a king, enjoy your friends and family, and watch every game on a big screen at your house. I will go to 1 game per year from here on out.

The right thing to do is implode Tiger Stadium and build a smaller venue, similar to Husky Stadium, fill it with amenities. That is what the fans want. You cant sell something to people that they do not want. I have been saying this since they wanted to expand the stadium. That day has left.

I'm going to a Notre Dame game in two weeks. Hotel rooms within a 30 mile radius run about $700 - $1000 a night on home game weekends. But guess what, despite the bullshite, I'm still going.

When I have tickets to LSU games I park about two miles away. (But I never leave before the end.)

You can complain about anything.
