Goodness.. there are a lot of doomsday posts.
"We are going to lose Peetz to Brady"
"We are going to hire a retread"
Fear comes from a lack of trust. Basically, you don't trust the decision makers to make the right decisions. Being a fan of a program without trust in the leadership is a crappy place to live.
I'll be honest, I don't like O. Didn't like the hire, don't like the man. Nor what he stands for as a man. If he is talking, he is usually lying.
That being said.. this is a good plan! Hire a young, ascending coaches who will fill in the gaps of O. Should O have went on radio and called somebody his #1 guy, No! But now we know what the leadership is thinking. There is a tangible plan, let's see if they follow through.

I think O was a weak hire.
And
I think he is a slick salesman without much integrity.

I think O has missed on every hire except Brady. That both saved his job and won him a Natty.

Name a coach, especially in college, who isn’t. You kind of have to be to get to the top. That being said, you still have not given an ounce of proof that every time he speaks he lies. You have only given your opinion of a man that you don’t personally know.

I don’t think he is a liar. He says things in the media that he “thinks” or that he wants to happen that doesn’t mean he is a liar just doesn’t always think before he speaks. If call Ed a liar then every coach from the beginning of coaching are liars. I will not be the coach of Alabama aight.
