Fake Field Goal Facts

1. That call by Georgia was pure arrogance.
2. They thought they were that much better than us.
3. They thought that it would be easy.
4. They thought it would take the wind out of our sails.
5. It completely backfired in their face and invigorated us.
6. It pissed our players off and made them play even harder.
7. Grant Delpit’s football IQ is exceedingly high.
8. “Not in our house, you don’t.”

If that’s arrogant then what is going for it in forth down so often? It’s not arrogant, but it was a bad call. The scouting should’ve said points would be at a premium, take what you can get. It was a bad decision, but not arrogance.

Meh LSU ran a fake punt from our own endzone before. Sometimes you get a look and you take a shot you weren’t going to originally take.

Some poster said it was arrogant and the Rant minions repost it over and over. Happens all the time here. UGA saw something they liked in LSU’s formation and they thought they could get it. LSU snuffed it out. Great play by the Tigers, no reason for fans to be upset.

Was it arrogance? I dunno. But it sure was interesting to see them run LSU’s famous rendition of a fake field goal in LSU’s house. Glad it failed.

I was confused mightily by that play call. I took it that UGA was concerned that they needed to go for the kill shot that early? If they were that confident they would have taken the points and just waited to get the ball back and shove it down our throats...

That's one way of looking at it and it may well be the case.
I chose to believe Georgia coaches knew they were in for one hell of a fight and they were looking to gain an advantage through trickery.

It was a dumb call. I don't know about their team but their fans definitely seemed very confident. Lol what an awesome experience

It was dumb not arrogant. It was born out of fear and panic. Desperation even.
