Everybody saying the administration did the right thing hasn’t been paying attention.

The NCAA doesn’t give a shite how “proactive” you are in these situations, just ask Mizzou and Ole Miss. The only schools that come out of something like this unscathed are the ones that show a united front and say prove it. Right now Arizona and Kansas have way worse “evidence” on them yet haven’t went all virtue signaling idiot. They are wisely waiting for the NCAA to actually say something on the situation because they know this is just the tip of the iceberg and it may get too big for the NCAA to even touch. Our admin thinks people like Forde and Vitale can actually do something to us besides spew hypocrisy because we aren’t a blue blood. Alleva blinked and jumped the gun like he always does. Patience is a virtue.

Everybody on Alleva’s side saying “wade was insubordinate” is also forgetting that what joe wanted to talk about is the part of a federal investigation and wade was advised by his attorneys not to attend. He talks to them, then they’re subject to being subpoenaed

Google SMU football ban. The integrity of the University is fortunately more important than one season of basketball even if that season has been very entertaining and fun.

So what you’re saying is wade should have taken one for the team and spoken to them because according to some on this board a mere rumor that you may be subpoenaed instantly makes you a convicted felon and we could have been rid of Alleva and king
