MBB has always had the greatest room to grow in LSU Fandon. If we can get WW to stay at LSU for a decade or more, LSUMBB can be as bigtime as any MBB program not named UK or UNC.
But, we need a new arena. A PMAC redo is not gonna get it done as we don't need to reduce our capacity down to 10K which would happen in a PMAC redo.

I think a new arena might be a little overboard. There are great teams that play in even more outdated arenas that have better atmosphere than the PMAC. I think we will find out for sure when we play Tennessee wether the mAC was the liability or whether it was just the lack of hype around LSU Basketball

Honestly thank god for that. Obviously football is king. but god dammit I love college basketball and college baseball. I'm so glad LSU has a great tradition and history in the big 3 sports. While also being pretty good across the board as well.

It certainly wasn’t baseball. Basketball was the last “identity” until the 90s.

Basketball is certainly on an upswing. An excellent young coach coming off the biggest win in years. Much more to be positive about than football.
