Supposedly OM has asked permission to talk to Vitello per some posters on SEC Rant. I have no clue how reliable that is.

Is this true? Possibly.
Would Vitello take the Ole Miss job? I seriously doubt it but it’s not laughably impossible.
The fact that Vitello would be even a slightly credible candidate for the Ole Miss job totally debunks this bullshite that Ole Miss is some poor little program miles below LSU where Mike Bianco has been overachieving.
This makes it all the more ludicrous that LSU would even consider Bianco for HC.

There are opinions in Oxford that if Bianco is gone it’s either McDonnell or Godwin to Ole Miss. I haven’t heard Vitello anywhere.
Godwin seems most realistic if Bianco does leave.
