It's not really necessary. I just use it as a gauge of who to keep an eye on in regards to incoming freshman.

I would hope they only do this to show potential frosh starters based on team specific depth charts..... People are starving for anything football related.

I'm surprised that Jameis Watson isn't on this list.

I've heard he's a smart kid, so learning the Playbook shouldn't be too hard for him. (not sure about the "secret Playbook". I suspect it's infinitely more complicated...

6'-7" seems tall for a C to me, but his older brother is about the same height and played C for Illinois. He is now an undrafted free agent for the St Louis Rams, so what the hell do I know... (G. Pocic might be w/ the Houston Texans, not the Rams. Not positive...)

Does anyone know if Pocic is being considered at G or OT?

ummm and our line looks like what now?

or how bout august of last year? it takes one of ur own players to fall on a starter and their season is over.

look im not trying to be negative, but looks like stud is finally doing something. get these guys pt at whatever position needs compitition. we saw what happened last year. Get these guys to train multiple spots, so if we need them, they will be ready. weve seen over the years we had one guy, miller, t bob, josh cant spell name rt niw, and williford. well they crossed train these guys late cus thats what we needed. cross train these dudes early and we wont be relying on 5th and 6th year srs to slide in a position.

Unless he beats out Porter, i don't see him getting a lot of time. OLine and QB are two positions that you don't do in a rotation, for a reason.

Zach Mettenberger stepped into a starting role for the Tigers last season, and now there's another ESPN 300 recruit to watch in the offense for 2013. AJ10, an early enrollee, was the No. 1-rated QB in his class but has also seen action with the first team at QB in Baton Rouge. A big, physical Quaterback with good agility and balance, AJ10 could end up seeing extensive heisman trophies for LSU.

Just think of ESPN is a large group of college football fans and think of the Preseasaon All American team as just another stupid thread.
