Michigan at Washington, Sept. 5
North Dakota State at Oregon, Sept. 5

Texas at LSU, Sept. 12
Welcome to the A/C Bowl, Part II. The first installment last year in Austin was a wild ride, and not just the pregame DBU debate and the game itself when LSU quarterback Joe Burrow began his Heisman Trophy campaign with a bang. The real fireworks came afterward when LSU coach Ed Orgeron claimed that the air conditioning in the visitors locker room wasn't working, which Texas denied. When asked about returning the favor, Oregon laughed and said, "I'm sure we have a plan or two to make them as comfortable as they can possibly be."

Auburn vs. UNC, Sept. 12
Georgia at Alabama, Sept. 19
Florida State at Boise State, Sept. 19
Oklahoma at Army, Sept. 26
Alabama at Ole Miss, Oct. 3
Texas A&M at Auburn, Oct. 17

Alabama at LSU, Nov. 7
Man oh man did LSU enjoy beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa last year, celebrating on the field as if it had won a national championship. Joe Burrow was carried away on his teammates' shoulders, for goodness sake. And that very public celebration would have been enough to light a fire under Alabama for the rematch of bitter SEC rivals. Strength coach Scott Cochran has been known to make a motivational mountain out of a molehill, after all. But then a clip of Ed Orgeron shouting, "Roll Tide, what? F--- you!" in the locker room was leaked and it sparked what will surely be one of the most intense games in the rivalry when Alabama goes into Death Valley.

Clemson at Notre Dame, Nov. 7
But look at your schedule and find the playoff-caliber test. Whether it's a weak ACC (not your fault, of course) or an out-of-conference schedule that includes Akron, The Citadel and South Carolina (kind of your fault)

Mississippi State at Ole Miss, Nov. 26

Others to watch
Ohio State at Oregon, Sept. 12
Tennessee at Oklahoma, Sept. 12
Penn State at Virginia Tech, Sept. 12
Washington at Washington State, Nov. 27
Nevada at UNLV, Nov. 28

This time in Tiger Stadium
Cochran better come up with some different motivation.
His act is old. A strength coach doing commercials.

It's hard to imagine CBS would pass again on making that a prime-time game.

First, there's no marquee OOC matchup such as UGA/ND last season (unless CBS would somehow get the rights to LSU/Texas). Now, CBS could (and probably will) use one of their double-header spots on UGA @ Alabama, but they would still have one more.

I think most LSU fans would admit that prior to last season LSU/Bama has lost some of it's luster simply because it had become so one-sided. That's not the case any longer. Plus, it was the highest rated reg season game of last year. Combine that with the fact the CBS is coming to the end of it's time broadcasting the game of the week, and I can't imagine they wouldn't want to squeeze the last bit of juice out of their contract. Promising advertisers the chance to run commercials on what will likely be one of, if not the most watched game of the season is a good way to generate extra revenue.

Unlike LSU, I think Georgia will be catching Bama at the best time.
