Covering all the bases this morning about Alabama deserving to be in the playoffs even with a loss. So if they lose to the only team with a pulse they have to play all season they can stay home and not have to play that extra game and have all that time to prepare. Have we seen this movie before?

This is where college football is flawed!

The committee needs to decide, do conference championships or for bama, division champ matter?

Or does the committee just wanna play The Who has the best team. Bc if conf champs don’t matter then they need to drop these pointless games, bc the ultimate goal is playoffs.

If bama loses this game today the committee really need to take a hard look at the body of work instead of well bama has the best coach and best team.

Sometimes the best team doesn’t win it all. Look at the NFL.

Look at 2011, that rematch for bama our such a shite taste in the whole country’s mouth, with the exception of butthole Alabama, that the changed the freaking format of college football.

And now they gonna do the exact same think if LSU can win out.

Wish I had that clip of LSU Saban preaching about the importance of winning your conference title to compare to his whining and pleading rounds of all the talk shows in their first do-over in 2011.

Well, had we taken care of business and beaten UF, we would be in the exact same spot as them. Win or lose, both teams would likely have been able to be in the Top-4.

No one to blame but ourselves...

Hate to break it to you, but killing conference championships is the exact reason for the committee.

Too right. And for us to get there we still have to get through A&M and Arkansas AND beat Georgia again. There’s something totally wrong with that picture

Well no shite, and if I didn’t have a penis, I’d be one ugly chick,

Yes LSU should have beaten Florida, but LSU is playing the 6th hardest sch, while bama is playing I think the 60th.

When bama was playing harder sch they were usually dropping one game a yr

If you think we'd get the benefit of the doubt like Bama under any conditions, you're wrong.

I hear what you're saying, but the point is Bama has wins against no ranked teams and if LSU somehow pulled it off, they would have wins against no ranked teams and a loss against the only good team they played. Would that resume really be deserving of a playoff spot? Big 12 teams used to always beat the life out of teams like Bama has played. Who you play and what you do against the good teams on your schedule are what should matter the most. Otherwise, things get unfair real fast from using the "eye test." The "eye test" has all the experts confidently picking Bama over LSU. If they would lose, then their eye test is shot to shite.

I hope those already on campus have access to TV’s. Gameday feels like an hours’ long Alabama hype video. Tiger fans blood should be boiling. Can’t wait to get down there.

Disagree. Bama gets the benefit of the doubt because of what they have done in the past. Yet the committee constantly reminds us that this is based on who the best team is and not what they did last year. One year Conference championships matter and the next they don’t.

According to the experts it is good for College Football if Bama is there. They will do what they can to make it happen.

This year all the talk seems to be the eye test. I hate that CFB allows a committee to select who plays for championships.

This would be something like the third time bama has lost a game that kept them from the SEC championship game and still somehow they played for the national title.

Who would expect it to be otherwise in 2018?

Finebaum just said Bama wins big, and Tua doesn't play in the 4th

It should be the most deserving teams, not the perceived best teams. That's what bothered me about 2011. Ok St won their division, and the pundits said they needed a strong showing against Oklahoma in the conference championship. And they KILLED em. And got robbed.
