I know the search feature on TD sucks, but a quick trip through the threads last week (which is all the writer probably did for his articel prep) will show you that the doubt was out in force.

you for serious using the rant as a measuring stick for the mood of the fan base?

Well you should also know that rantards were out in full force which doesn't exactly mean anything to me in the sense of actual knowledge of the team.

I hear ya. I couldn't believe the tard talk of holding Nola till game 2. That's how bad it was.

I wasn't worried at all - love the best vs best matchups in all sports (can't stand when we schedule panzies in football).

But to the reporter, the tards are the LSU fan base.

Which is probably more correct than not correct.

We met some LSU fans back in 2007 that have been going for 20+ years no matter who was playing. They invited us to their tailgate in the RV lot and we make a point to visit with them each day. Great people, great food and a wonderful time.

It's like the Omaha police say. Without LSU they have 1 RV and 1000 fights. With LSU they have 1000 RV's and 1 party. LSU has some great fans and will they'll be there in full force. I'm traveling with a bunch myself.

Well I didn't write the article. You can start with that.

Oh, and I also posted the part up there in bold.

and an offense that should just begin innings with two on and one out, an attempt at compromise to save us all a bit of time.

That article sounds like it was written at 11pm with a midnight deadline.

Aaron Nola didn't look great against Sam Houston State.

The fact of the matter is, 3 first inning errors and an idiot homeplate ump that had a matchbox-sized strike zone notwithstanding, Aaron Nola looked superb against Sam Houston State.
