Energy from both teams this past Saturday

Just watched the game back and a big takeaway for me is this: when our defense made plays, they celebrated together and that energy was felt through all 11 players on the field. Clemson on the other hand if a guy made a play, the singular player would do some celebration and for the most part none of the other 10 guys would rally around them at all. This tells you a lot about a team and the energy they show up to play in. This 2025 LSU defense has some old school Les Miles era defensive swag to them that we lost towards the end of the O era/ Early BK era and I love it. As a viewer if you missed a big play, you might not know who made it as all 11 guys are running towards the Tiger Stadium student section after a 4th down stop. The band plays Chinese Bandits.....gives me chills to think about. Those times will be coming soon with this defense.

Clean offseason was nice.

When you have an elite DC like Baker it creates confidence. Players almost always reflect their coaches. Also Baker is a very aggressive DC. Players love that.

I went to the game and saw the energy in pregame warmup and said yeah I’m taking the +4.5 points with LSU it was different

Bad enough the refs were against us. Clemson had 12 men on the field the whole game???

I was reading the Clemson board after the game and saw a couple comments about the disrespect LSU showed before the game from calling them Death Valley Junior to "running through their warm-ups"
I don't know if the part is true about running through their warm-ups, but it reminded me of 2019 Texas when LSU players went to the UT sideline and drank their water. This could be a good sign.

Whit Weks mentioned it a lot all offseason that this defense is a very tight-knit group.

So far, team chemistry seems to be elite with this group
