I’ve been a long time detractor of O, the hire, his abilities, etc. It appears I was wrong and I admit it. Coach O has won me over, and I was wrong not to support him from the beginning.

One thing he has done well is address needs. I didn’t think he would do that and thought he’d hire and protect buddies.

This brings me to my second point. I’ve felt for about 5 years this Moffit needed to be replaced. His methods are antiquated and have been passed by. The conditioning of the team was ridiculous last night.

He needs to be graciously ushered into retirement as soon as possible.

There’s always room on this train. Welcome aboard and be sure to buckle up. Negatigers have adapted and blend in, waiting to jump on the tracks so it’s gonna be a bumpy ride to the Dome!

This whole board was against the hire at first. He won me over the second we throttled Georgia.

Moffit needs to swallow his pride like Coach Steve E and O hire a young up and coming strength coach assistant with new and innovative strength and conditioning ideas and maybe some better supplements also

Orgeron took steps to fix the offense, which LSU has needed for years.

Miles got the boot for not fixing the offense. TBH, if Orgeron continued the ‘run and snore’ offense, he’d have gotten the boot, too.

Credit to the man for stepping up and doing what he needed to do. It was so gratifying to watch a modern offense perform like it did last night.

I think he already did that when he brought Viloria in.

But, clearly, something more needs to happen. Our offensive guys looked fresh and lively, probably because we only actually held the ball for about 1/3 of the game. The defense was definitely gassed.

You were wrong about Coach O and you are wrong about Moffit.

Big Difference between conditioning and Hydration.

Saban wanted Moffit, but when he did not go to Bama, he settled for Cochren who was at LSU under Moffit in 03.

One Texas series they reeled off something above 18 plays. Hey, on hot in Texas lots of LSU D cramping up, etc. I wasn't that surprised really. I take wins any way they come. Geaux Tigers.

In another thread, last week, I was down voted because I said hope the team is hydrating.

Moffitt needs to be replaced. This has been evident for the last few years. He had a great run, but it needs to be done.

I concur. Even the LSU broadcasters were noting in the first half how Texas owned the line of scrimmage. We look weak in the trenches and have for years.

Were the Texas offensive players on the field for the same 18 play drive?

Mike that is why I don't come here on a regular basis. Too many people have no clue what they are talking about.

I have cramped up when I was in the best condition of my life, and more than once.

Believe me Brother Moffit knows what he is doing.

...agree.... you saw it on both defenses in the 2nd half...the big mistake was not giving IV’s at halftime...with a game temp of 98* and humidity @ roughly 23% (dry heat) it was definitely heat stroke to heat exhaustion extremes even for young football players... doesn’t matter what your players seemed to look or feel like at halftime in the locker room... it can come down on you in a jiffy if precautions aren’t taken quick enough or when needed....

I had to go to 1st Aid during 4th Quarter for some Benedryl and there were fans taking every bed, chair and floor space with ice on heads and feet. Heat was extreme yesterday.
