Dang didnt seem like he played that long to be chiefs 3rd all-time leading receiver. Well with the chief offense now run by mahomes at QB he may be 13th all time leading WR in 5 years

There was a few year stretch where he was considered one of the best WR’s in the league. Then it just seemed like he disappeared.

Long after my memories of seeing his play I will still remember his interview.
They were talking about how much better he was playing in that current season. Dwayne told the interviewer it was because he got contacts. The first time he ever had corrective eyewear in his life.
The interviewer said it must have been a big change in his life to be able to see that much better if it helps him catch footballs better. They then asked Dwayne what the fist thing he did after he got his vision back.
Dwayne said "I broke up with my girlfriend". The interviewer (I think a woman) really laughed OUT LOUD and asked "you broke up with your girlfriend?!!!".
Dwayne said "Yeah, my friends and teammates always told me she was ugly but she looked good to me, UNTIL that day".

Ran into him at a party at the old Commons Apt. complex back in 05 and he was wearing a 4 Horsemen t-shirt with a picture of him, Jamarcus, Early, and Xavier.

Wow! Always wondered if he was joking or if really had a girlfriend and broke up with her because of his vision.

Smoked with d bowe, Terrell McGill, Ali highsmith and some other guy circa 2004 at WCA. Good dudes, Ali gave me 03 Cotton Bowl jacket that he got from Michael Clayton. Good times. The jacket has the cotton bowl logo with a 14 under it.

Yep...very very nice and sweet and pretty. She realized later he was joking.
She is the 1st person that told me about "Purple Drink." She did not do it...but she educated me about it :)
