Hope LSU’s staff is paying attention. They ran everything through Zion in the middle and created open looks all over the court

Not the point I’m making. I’m sure they do, but Duke doesn’t matter if we lose Friday.

You're missing my point, LSU struggled with Maryland’s zone yesterday. Duke just put on a clinic on how to break one up. This isn’t about duke or UCF, it’s about LSU breaking up a zone which they struggle to do.

Come on dude. LSU can pick apart a zone on one or 2 plays as well. You also can’t compare teams bc most don’t have Zion who is a perfect high post player against zone. I get that I’m probably being too complex for you but just stop.

every middle school coach knows you have to flash a guy to the middle, up near the FT line, the soft spot of most zones. Criminal that we didn’t do that more.

Noted. Yes I agree, I hope the staff is doing a lot to figure out how to break out of the zone. We know Izzo will have MSU ready.

LSU needs Mays or Waters or someone to get hot from the 3.

Darius Days would be perfect for this

Also I’m sure you don’t know this but duke plays zone. They have more expierence against zone than probably any team in country.

Well, this is a dumbass thing to say.

LSU has several players who could play this role, and have more talent than a lot of teams they will play, so that’s not an excuse.

Lmao. Ok. Yea we got plenty of players that compare to Zion. Can’t wait to see them drafted in top 10. You’re a joke. Another first time watcher this season.

Yes. LSU should throw the ball to the best player in college basketball to beat the zone. Well said

We have been terrible at the zone all year. I wouldn’t expect miracles from TB in three weekends when the golden boy Wade could not help this team figure it out in six months l. We are always going to struggle with zones on offense and perimeter D, particular 3 point D, on defense. It is what it is at this stage of the season.

Definitely not a first time watcher.

I’m not saying that we have anyone comparable to Zion. I am saying we have players who could play the middle competently in a similar role that can help LSU beat the zone.

Did you watch the Maryland game, LSU was clueless against that zone. No excuse for that.

One thing's for sure. Duke bought a good one in Zion.
