would have been a fun matchup to focus on for sure. mo was nasty, just straight mean. big and strong and FAST, what a great DB he was here. Man up and bully the guy in front of you and he was excellent at that.

You don’t think any of them are? I admit there’s arguments to made for some of them but considering what they’ve done in the NFL, without the protection of the rest of that 2011 defense, I’d say there’s def reason to believe they were better “man coverage” corners. Claiborne didn’t even always draw the #1 assignment from other teams while at LSU.

I get heat for this often, but while Mo was at LSU, he was better in man coverage than PP7.
Wasn’t near the overall athlete obviously, but in man coverage he was much more dominant. His struggles in the NFL have been mostly due to the different schemes and zone coverages.
