I know this is said a lot.. but if we get hot at the right time, which needs to start about now, we will be dangerous. Our lineup is unreal.

I would be pissed if I was hosting a regional and had lsu coming in

You knew it would happen eventually, he’s too good of a hitter. I’m more happy about Jobert hitting the ball well his last 2 games. We need him to be able to produce.

Doughty
Jobert also a bit out of his slump (at least hit ball hard)
Berry back in lineup

Now if Dugas could just get and stay healthy, they might just hit their way to Omaha.

This team needs him to smash the ball like he did yesterday. Would be a great time to get hot.

Doesn’t matter. Hit two home runs.

I think this was key. Harder to pitch around the top of our lineup and once the bats got rolling and we put up a crooked # things kinda snowballed.

Now i hope we keep JB in the lineup vs a RHP.. whether he is batting lefty or not.

Crews: 18 CF
Jobert: 15 DH
Berry: 15 3B
Doughty: 12 2B
McManus: 8 C
Pearson: 7 RF
Thompson: 6 SS
Morgan: 5 1B
Dugas: 4 LF

This is the lineup we need in the postseason. Get Dugas healthy and hitting bombs and we will mash our way to Omaha

ETA: Not the order, I just listed them by HRs hit.

Our bench has 10 combined with Travinski leading the way with 6. He would be a good PH if our lefty DHs are struggling vs a LH pitcher.

The game announcers made a comment that Johnson told them it was a lineup made for HR's. I think they took an aggressive approach at the plate last night. I would like to see them continue on with that mental approach. Let's just smash the ball and see what happens. Hitting can be contagious.

I'm really hoping he continues to swing the bat like that for the rest of the season. Seeing him drop below .300 was very shocking, hopefully he is out of his slump and gets his average back over .300

Crews performs exceptionally well as the lead-off hitter. He needs to stay there, IMO.

They pitch around him and he gets on base for 2-3-4.

Smart move by Johnson with Morgan still hobbled. Morgan got up a little gimpy after the final out last night.

Did I say we were hit again? No I didn’t. Read before you post bull shite.

I said we can be dangerous IF we get hot.
