This will be the first year since in 20 that we have some questions of what exactly we are gonna get at both the Running Back and Defensive Back positions. Usually both are our strongest links now I guess we will see and hope for the best.

Saying that I do believe there will be other positions to help compensate for due to being younger or shear lack of depth like the ones I mentioned above.

1) QB(s) will be better and upgrade from last
2) DL as a whole definitely better
3) LB's Better
4) OL I believe better due to depth and rotation
5) WRs think about even always had great guys there
6) ST only God knows always seems more mental

I'm curious what makes you say this is for sure.

The D line should be pretty good so hopefully they won't give QBs a lot of time to take advantage of our secondary.

You forgot the "I believe" caveat.

Terrance Magee was our starting RB going into the season just a few years ago.

Terrance Magee is still in the league. He was a really good player. I think we have two NFL backs on next years roster too.

I actually believe in Miles for sure long as he stays on the Doughnut and Beef diet plus Narcisse & Justins athleticism sets us up alright as far as a diverse group to go with..

Dead serious. Tell me why it is for certain that the QB play will definitely be better this year. I mean, Etling "set records" with Ensminger. Are you saying that one of the 3 QBs is going to be even better than that? Without question? None could beat Danny out last year.

Kinda my point. He was unproven as an every down SEC back. Hell, he had been moved to WR just 2 seasons prior. Someone will emerge. They always do.

Do you expect a freshman or an injured freshman to come in a nd have the system down the same as a senior? Again, if you don't think there is a flat out talent improvement from Etling to Brennan then we have no use discussing this. Danny's experience couldn't be matched last year. Brennan will gain his now.
Get back to me next year on this subject.

I don't disagree. I'm simply wondering how someone can say it's definitely going to happen. Especially after what we just went through with Harris. I'm not even saying the team won't have improved QB play. I'm only pointing out that we don't know yet.

If we were going by strictly logic, then I would say Orgeron is definitely going to fail, but making proclamations about the future isn't smart. Brennan could get hurt, anything can happen. We just don't know.

Hahaha ... that's not helping you're argument at all. You act as if LSU has never had a 4 star QB come in and not live up to the hype.

Anyways, arguing against someone saying we don't know the future seems a bit silly to me.
