Regarding today’s scrimmage “Orgeron said he and Ensminger were going to decide the rotation and reps during Friday’s two-hour film review.

Brennan was playing his best football, Orgeron said, but added that it was “too early” to give anyone an edge.”

If it’s not Burrow we are in trouble that’s all I’m saying.

In my 55 years of watching LSU football, when a younger player takes the starting position away from an experienced player, its usually a good thing.

I'm not counting him out at all because players have made big leaps in their progression during fall camp, especially in their 2nd year. That said, I would still be stunned if it isn't The Burrow.

Here’s a thought: what if the addition of Burrow has motivated Myles to play better and he’s actually pretty dang good? Maybe, despite his lower weight, he makes up for it in toughness. I like Burrow and if he’s all that he’s been made out to be, he should start. I just think it’s possible that the spring scrimmage was a fluke for Brennan and he may actually be a great quarterback.

Burrow's our starter. The coaching staff saw a lot of our other 3 QBs during the spring and clearly none were up to the task, thus the desperate search for a transfer. All the talk you'll hear through fall camp is just coach-speak and is meant to keep the other 3 QBs engaged.

But Burrow is our starter.

there was a lot more to spring practice than just the spring game. The coaching staff got a good look at all 3 QBs over the course of a few weeks.

Clearly none of them is the answer right now - thus the immediate search for a transfer.

Not a sure thing at this moment. Its a good thing to see them all competing.

He’s just keeping the kids engaged. Burrow will start.

He's too small, a LB would kill him if they met up at full speed.

Real question: do quarterbacks get hit in practice or do they make the D hold off? If yes, then Brennan has probably been hit by some big SEC-size guys. And, if so, looks like he’s still alive and unhurt.

Brennan is redshirting
Burrow is starting
Narcisse will have a package made for him
Not sure what will happen with McMillan

Got some insider info on Friday. Believe it or not it’s up to you but this was from a pretty big source

There’s actually a Devin White drill. The QB stands still and Devin White gets a 15 yard start and makes a tackle on them.

From the article:
quote:

Ensminger, Orgeron said, has been studying the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers to better learn how to use running backs as receivers.

TMI?
But interesting.

I hope not. He should come in and run the same package with his own different style. If we put a "package" in for him - defenses will stack the box and it will be pointless.

Don't count out McMillan, Narcisse, and the other clipboard holder. Word is that they all look better than Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Tom Brady combined right now. looks like Burrow will just have to go to Cincinnati.

Ha! Not sure if even Joe Freakin Burrow would live through that.

And who would that be?

Do you know how many people claim "inside source" but are just bullshitting everybody to make it seem like they're in the know but really arent.
