Donovan Bennet - Stolen Valor (Football)
Posted by mydadwillSueU on 6/15/18 at 1:46 pm819
So I work construction out of state and one of the guys on the project claims to have played football from 91-93. Its all he talks about. So i look this baw up and he isnt on any rosters anywhere online. LSU even lists walkons on their rosters. So i confronted him about this and he still insists that he played and started at LB for the tigers. Said he was number 64. I'm just looking for some proof that ole baw Donovan Bennet is full of Shite. Please help me prove this guy is a total fake

One of my favorite LSU LB's of all time. Don't mess with the legend.

LBs don’t wear 64. Lol

I had a guy that I worked offshore with a few years ago tell everyone he got drafted by the Oakland raiders in the 70s
I googled it and pulled up the draft with him standing right there and told him to GTFO

Yeah if he claimed that number and played during the 60s or something it might be believable. No LBs wear that number now

Bennett wasn't great rushing off the edge but man was he solid in coverage.
Boy you need to improve your LSU football knowledge.

Donovan Bennet and Ratphuc Hobley were beasts at LB in the nickel package. From 91-93 they were solid. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Would maybe a walk on not wear proper numbers? I have no idea, but yeah that number and position don’t match and google is completely blank when I search for him.

That sounds accurate. Stop being so damn jealous and worry about having the proper PPE.

Call him out to a sonic....if you win no doubt in my mind he didn't ball at LSU.

Should at least pick a better era of LSU football to pretend to be a part of

You should ask him how in the hell did they lose to Alabama in tiger stadium in 93?(I know the location and score) if he doesnt correct you have your answer.

I don't think linebackers can wear 64. Maybe im wrong or maybe they could have back then.

This type of stuff is pretty common, especially on construction sites. I guess it’s a dick measuring thing.
I had a construction guy tell me that his son played LB for Petrino at Arkansas, went to the sugar bowl, etc...turns out he was a walk on for Arkansas-Monticello.
