Why did the kid wait until after 10 to confirm it? Who knows

I know. the burrow family knows. It is a piece of shite rag that didn't respect the family's wishes. They thought they saw a legitimate Bigfoot and ran the story before the agreed upon time.

the family live in Athens Ohio since his dad coaches at Ohio University. Athens is where Joe went to high school. Joe lives in Columbus because he was attending OSU. His brother lives in Houston.

But here is this reputable newspaper or website in Cincinnati breaking the story before even the family makes an announcement.

No "hold that tiger" from the Eaux or anything. Just a rag named the Enquirer stealing the limelight from the Burrows. Which they don't seem they wanted anyway. but I would bet by Joe's announcement after 10 at night that this was not planned.

You don’t know shite. All you do is look for writers looking for clicks and post THEIR thoughts. You have zero original takes.
Just shut the frick up for once and admit you actually thought the Cincinnati Enquirer was affiliated with the National Enquirer, you moron.

It’s a newspaper as good as the advocate, the Orlando Sentinel, or any other major newspaper. Whether you like how they ran with the story is immaterial.

All that other stuff you typed are assumptions, with the exception of where the kid is from.
How do you know they didn’t make an announcement to said newspaper?

Quit acting like you know everything.

It was good news yes. But I think my opinion of the rag called the Enquirer has merit.

ESPN, 24/7, Rivals, NOLA, the Advocate, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, etc, etc, etc. could have known but had the decency to hold off announcing until the family wanted. The piece of crap rag broke it before Joe even announced. And it wasn't a "the Enquirer thinks this will happen". They are a piece of shite rag.

You delusional idiot. Like they all had the “decency” to not announce Miles to Michigan, or Miles’ Job was in jeopardy in the middle of the 2015 season, or that LSU was hiring Tom Herman in the middle of a game??? There’s no sense of decency in the media when they have a chance to scoop everyone.

If it’s even possible, I think you’re getting dumber.

What a fricking idiot you are man. Did you ever stop and think maybe the kid wanted a nice and quiet reveal? He isn't a high school commit. He has been there, done that. Perhaps he just wanted to let the coaches know and get to work. His transfer news didn't come out with a lot of noise, outside of this board. This may have been exactly the way they wanted it.

No... Joe Alleva was responsible for Canada being at LSU. The very reason Alleva was called in to sit in on the meetings between O and Canada because Canada was Alleva's problem. Had it been up to O, after Kiffin bailed for FAU, he'd have named E the OC right then, but Alleva one that wouldn't go over very well and decided they needed the flavor of the month as their new OC.

The Cincinnati Enquirer’s website is Cincinnati.com. As in the official newspaper of the city of Cincinnati. Like our Houston Chronicle.

The fact you keep associating it with the national enquirer is stupid.

And you’re doubling down on it, too. What gives?

O deserves a good bit of credit, but hands down the two that deserve the msot are Busch and Ensminger. Busch worked all the back channels and gave us our in with the Burrow family since he knew them, and E did what E does best and recruited the shite out of the kid and his family when they were on campus. 30 minute offensive meeting turned into 2.5 hours of E and Jimmy Burrow talking schemes and philosophy while Joe soaked it all up and saw how he'd be used.

quote:

Dave Aranda hand picked Busch. It was part of his negotiations when A&M was trying to hire him away from us. He got to hire his choice at safety coach, and move Raymond to CBs only.
