Because you should.

The "LSU is broke" false narrative is laughable.

F. King claiming we are broke a few years ago was politics. Plain and simple.

Alleva sucks at public relations (among other things), but he is good at managing money.

The LSU athletic department probably has $20-$30 million a year it doesn't even know what to do with. Think about the reserves they have built up.

We have plenty of money to compete at the highest level of college football and college athletics in general.

Then he should've countered Texas on Herman.

As usual, the cost of this absurd assistant coach salary WILL be passed on to the consumer. Get ready.

It's not always about money. If Herman wanted to be at Texas more, the point would have been moot.

would have been futile...when Charlie Strong was fired, Herman to UT was a done deal....that's his dream job.

You do realize athletic and academic money are two different things? The academic side has been hurting a LOT over the past decade.

Just stop. This is such a disingenuous statement.

We weren't a 5 win team in 2016.

We're not broke, I agree. Lot of money comes from boosters anyway. But this contract with Aranda doesn't really say much, seeing as Aranda and O's salary combined is still less than some schools are paying for a HC alone.

Herman has serious player attitude problems at Texas. One starter, when asked how Herman could improve things said, "He needs to quit lying to the team." Could be trouble in paradise or just a pissed off player.

Herman was using us as leverage on UT, 100%. He was never coming here if UT offered him the job.

I guess we'll see.

Some of these players have objections to staying hydrated so I don't exactly know how to take their criticisms of him.

Of course I do. F. King is the one that falsely blended the two so he could appear as if we have no money, in order to get more state funding. Politics.
