Does Dan Mullen to UForfeit hurt or help LSUs recruiting?

Sorry if this is a Germans topic.
I dont follow recruiting much but on the surface I cant make heads or tails of this. LSU recruits Florida heavily and well and for some odd reason, seems to ignore Mississippi which, at least at one time, had by far the most NFL players per capita along with LA.
On one hand, you could argue that Mullen will take a bite out of LSUs recruiting of the State of FL. On the other hand, it opens recruiting in MS. Does LSU have the MS connections to recruit MS well enough to offset the potential loss in recruiting FL?

That depends on how his staff looks, and the general approach to recruiting.

I'd say hurts slightly. We get kids from IMG academy. Mullen will probably be able to pull those kids easier than us.
But let's be honest, O being our head coach hurts our recruiting more than anything. It's already evident.

Helps. Don’t forget about Leo Lewis, Willie Gay, etc

UF doesn't need to recruit LA. I don't think this hire means much for LSU. UF will continue to be a tough game every year.

I think you misunderstood what I was asking.
BTW, Ween is a very underrated band.

Why did I get two downvotes for asking this question?
This place makes no sense.

Doesn't matter. The usfl will be calling him in oh say, about three years.

It helps LSU tremendously in Mississippi and its a wash in Florida. LSU will still take a couple out of there every year or two.

No I think I do, just didn't really elaborate. I think with both MS and FL, LSU only targets studs. We win some, and lose some, but don't have huge established pipelines in either state.
The competition for those players will be high, because of the schools in the states, not so much about the coaches at those schools.
I don't think any opportunities pop up in MS. Just like AL, you have to get through 2 huge schools. For whatever reason, the MS schools have always done well with in state kids.
FL, on the other hand is completely open, much like TX. More talent than there are schools. No way to lock down the state.
So again, I don't think you see much of a recruiting difference, other than LA not being hit as hard by MSU in the very short term.

No doubt, always love it when someone gets where the name came from.

UForfeit has not had much trouble recruiting in Florida the last few years. I don't think Mullen wins more battles against LSU, but he won't lose more either.
The biggest problem in Florida, is that Miami and UGA are hot, and FSU is still there, so Florida in general will be harder to recruit.

Except IMG kids are mostly transplants that have already exhibited behavior that they would like to "get away".

Oh, sorry, I'll move along.

Thanks for clarifying.
Never seen a band do so much with so little. Simplistic sonic perfection on a drum machine.
Could never figure out why they didnt receive the glory Beck stole.
Ween. The Pixies of their genre.
Beck. The Nirvana of that genre.

I would like Mullein to stay at Mississippi State. He has done a lot with way less talent. Imagine what he could do at UF. He also has a proven history of developing QBs with the strengths they have and adapt the team around the QB versus forcing a system on the QB.

I just think it’s unoriginal and unfunny
Nobody over the age of 18 should feel comfortable typing out ‘Uforfeit’ or GAYtors, and other childish shite like that

You are an idiot. He had a tremendous class last year (any comments on the performance of our true freshmen this year), and we will finish with a top 5 class this year once the big, final fish come in. I take O 100% over Mullen's recruiting prowess.
