Like him or not, consider this: He hired football coach. More importantly he has allowed O to hire more shadow staff. Opened checkbook for Aranda. Gave O freedom to promote Ensminger. Hired Wade, and so far kept him happy with PMAC upgrades in future. Kept out of the way of a top Baseball program. And to top it off, keeps the dollars rolling in.

That was my question, does he get credit for being lucky? I’m not a huge fan of his, but so far you can’t argue with results. Kinda like O, you can’t plan on a QB just falling into your lap. But so far most things have fell into place for him.

No. Alleva deserves to be beaten with a wet chain.

He deserves credit for killing the tailgating atmosphere. For such a huge game yesterday it didn’t have that “feel” to it before kickoff. To many empty spots that once used to be jam packed with tents and make shift tailgates.

He doesn’t deserve any credit. I don’t want to say this the day after defeating the #2 team in the country, but he still rushed to the podium like a spoiled brat and hired a guy that he could have hired at any point. He didn’t do his due diligence in that coaching search.

Campus sucked yesterday for that type of big game. The block party tailgate shite was packed...... with UGA fans. So LSU sold out to allow away fans to take prime tailgate spots away from LSU fans. Some of those groups have been in those spots for decades. And the concessions are still hot dog shite. That’s two things that has Alleva’s hands all over them.

Absolutely not.
He has all but killed the Death Valley experience.
O may work out to be a great coach, but he may not. The hiring decision was waaaay too risky given the options and thus not a good management decision.

Yes and no, but not really. Baseball program preexists him. Basketball hire was good but it's always a gamble to hire so young. PMAC been way overdue for upgrades, and honestly needs to be replaced. I'll give him credit for paying Aranda and allowing O to expand the support staff. I've been an O fan from the beginning, but we also know O wasn't Alleva's first choice. He couldn't sell LSU to his priority targets so settled on O. O adopted a very talented team and is a phenomenal motivator. He deserves credit for this year's success.
I still hope Les Miles somehow finds his way to the athletic department and becomes Alleva's heir apparent. It's a long shot but it would be awesome.

No he should get none. This is far from over and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. This team is still likely 9-3 but that is a great accomplishment with this gauntlet schedule. They will be best 9-3 team in country

Of course not. You don't get credit for botching a decision but getting lucky.
