Not unless LSU totally tanks the last few games

Steve really is bottom of the barrel so far

I would be fine with Steve stepping down if I thought that he'd been given every opportunity to succeed. When I look at the offense I see a bunch of missing pieces. It would be a shame not to give a man that has bled purple and gold for so long every chance in the world to be successful.

So having said that I believe he deserves a chance to right the ship.

For what it's worth I've got a bad feeling about Arkansas.

If they do they need to start doing some homework now and who ever O brings in needs to be proven college OC, who can coach up QBs, develop them and run a real innovative offense.

O also needs to step the frick back and forget LSU power football traditions for a minute and let the damn offense be what it's supposed to be. Hell it doesn't have to even be all that complicated, just a good play caller that recognizes situations early and knows how to defeat it. Someone that is great with fakes, movement, match ups and RPOs.

We have a QB that can be dynamic if they would just let the man play ball. We will have better depth next year all over the place on offense. We really need to nail down 2 more elite DTs and another guy who can rush the passer. He doesn't have to be Arden Key or Chassion. He can be heavier and just quick/strong combo. That's hard to deal with in close.

We would kill people if we had real depth up the middle to rotate and 2 guys who can get to the QB from the edge. We need our NTs to get into shape and if the S&C guys can't do their jobs then it's time for them to go too. They need to motivate as much as do their jobs in the weight room.

Do you think that this is the best any OC could do with this team?

Because I dont.

I think Enis a below average OC.

No but I think that the situation was so botched that they felt that they had to do something for continuity. Steve was there and familiar with the program. I believe that Alleva forced Canada on O or made O feel that he had to hire him. O had already whiffed on Kiflin and I don't know who else. Canada was a mistake that backed O into a corner.

We should, but unless the wheels totally come off in the next three weeks we probably won't.

I wasn't a fan of the O hire, but he went out this last offseason and really did a good job trying to fill the holes in the program. The team, as a whole, also looks very well coached. I just think O has a vision for his team (2003 USC) that isn't possible for the current talent and the current times. He's going to have to change that vision or we're going to be stuck as a middle of the pack offensive team at best.

The simple fact is that our offense this season is very bad, and there are better coaches out there that could be getting more out of our talent than Steve Ensminger. I would love to have a coach that could match Aranda on the offensive side of the ball, but at this point I'd settle for one that has the occasional bad offensive game instead of the occasional good one. And while continuity on offense can be important, I think it's only really important if you have a good offense, which we don't.

He wasn't a very good (just 'good') OC,
Studs was OC for the #4 scoring O in LSU history (TDs by rush and pass), and also a record setting OC for BGSU.
I guess tRant didn't like his physique, because he's an excellent coach and LSU OL play has regressed since he left.

I think we're in a time loop where Les looks like a big cajun guy and Cam Cameron dips a lot more than usual during games.
Except less offense than any Miles/Cam season?
Escaping that "antiquated offense" has netted about 20pts less pass RAT, and rushing, lets not even go there, smdh.
