Just a few months ago, 7mil/yr seemed far fetched. Imagine what another Natty will command.

If he keeps winning. With the amount of money a championship football program brings in to a school, you could argue that O, Saban and Swinney are underpaid.

Doesn't LSU already have Coach O wrapped up for like 9 years? He'll be about 67 by the time he gets to the last year.

An extension doesn’t mean you add on the years to the previous contract.

Not certain, TBH. If he becomes a sought after coach, the it would make sense. If the national media continues to act like he is farmer Fran, only really a fit for LSU, then that may mitigate that. If he keeps winning at this clip, he would deserve it.
