3-9? No way both survive. Alleva should be gone either way.

Alleva yes. O will depend on the timing of the AD hire and how he finishes the season.

If Alleva isn't fired as AD, I am done with LSU football until he is.

They will have to turn things around BIG time and fast for them to keep their jobs.

I don't see that happening. If our boosters care anything about LSU, they will take action before it's too late.

Alleva better be
O would have to go 3-9 and it might still depend if Miles gets a job.

Who votes in the AD? Does F King have control over that too? If so shouldn't he be gone as well?

Yes.

Alleva"s mismanagement has come to light. IMO, he will never hire another coach at LSU.

If O could get the ship righted he would stay. But have you seen anything that remotely suggests he is capable of so doing?

He is in way over his head.

IMO
Alleva is gone. CEO is very good at what he knows. Why else would he make the meeting public knowledge ?
Alleva wanted Miles to change, now he thinks he has CEO in a box. Not any more. Could mean LSU has new AD and OC next year.

ETA
if CEO can shift blame to JA and MC, he buys another year.

I don't know how Alleva is even still here. And the fact that he's having meetings with coaches to "get on the same page" is both ludicrous and very disconcerting.

At 3-9 or even 4-8, the BoS had better already have a name and contingency plan in place for if this situation happens, to replace Alleva. With a 3-9 or 4-8, if the TAF can't round up buyout money for Orgeron then we're screwed.

As said above, Alleva should be terminated either way. If we have a new AD in place before bowl season is over and Orgeron has only 3 or 4 wins, I'd expect O to be sent packing. If this is not the case when that situation happens, it's a good barometer that the TAF big boosters and BoS have written off our football program.

IMO the attendance (or lack thereof) at our remaining home games will ultimately be more damning for Alleva's future here than even something disastrous like missing bowl season. The BOS propping up Alleva speaks one language: $$$$

A stadium that seats over 100,000 people sits waiting like a silent guardian - a testament to our fan base, a proxy for our expectations. I can support our Tigers without supporting "Mr. Buyout" - and that's what I will do until he's GONE.

Both. I can guarantee you the new AD will not walk around LSU's campus with O as head football coach at 3-9 on the year. Any COMPETENT AD will know his job depends on LSU sports and their success.

As others have said. Depends. I will add the basketball program in the discussion. If LSU basketball takes off and O rights the ship to finish strong then both are safe.

I was expecting 3 losses this year. Just not to Troy. Im still holding hope for this season.

For me if O doesnt bring in a fullback to block for the rest of the season then they just arent getting it and probably never will.
