Saban isn’t going to let a silly video/saying turn him into a classless run-up-the-scorer

No the number will be around 30 or less. They can't afford to get anybody hurt in garbage time. Saban can recruit off whatever the score is, he doesn't need to hang 60 on us full blast with starters for the full 60, IMO

Some players might be motivated by it but Saban doesn't give shite. When that happened last year he probably just went

Absolutely it is. The sad part is they don't need it.

"We're going to kick their arse in recruiting...We're going to beat their arse every time they see us."

It's going to be like an order restored moment.

I think they'll try to run it up regardless. Not because of a "silly video" but just as payback for last year. Plus, they're trying to get Mac Jones the Heisman, so they'll be throwing all day.

I'm thinking 45-3 or 45-7

Something along those lines.

We get a good return or a turnover to get in range for some points.

They go up 30+ on us in the first half then play backups

Saban isn't a run the score up type but you can bet your arse it's being used as motivation. If not by the staff then by the players. Remember that 11 squad that was Bamas best ever at the time? We went to their house and beat them. All their players talked about leading up the rematch was "restoring order". When excellence is required, expected and usually executed, sometimes a program of that caliber needs just a little bit of an edge. The Bama team this year is gonna be motivated to "restore order" once again. They're on a mission and we happen to be an obstacle to fulfilling it. Add the bad blood and it could get ugly before the starters are pulled. Guarantee last year is mentioned at some point this week or after the game by players.

To add on to my point, Steve Sarkisian is probably looking to get a head coaching job based on their offense this year. The have no reason to call the dogs off.

No. Bama could play their scout team next week and still win by 3 scores.

Bama will destroy us.

Simply because they want to make the playoffs even with a loss to Florida in the SECCG

Unless we get a defensive TD, special teams TD or a turnover setting up first and goal, we are getting shut out.

Just embrace the whipping and take it like a man.

And Saban has probably had that video of O playing on a loop in their training facility.

It’d be a waste to use it on this team in this season. If we’re good next year, I’d expect him to play it up a bit more with us going back to Tuscaloosa.

I agree that Saban isn’t a run it up tyke of coach. They just destroy other teams and win by large margins because they are just that much better than the opponent.

This Bama team is as good as any Bama team has been in the last five years. This LSU team is as bad as any LSU team has been. I expect the result this weekend will be a blowout. Not because Saban is intentionally running it up. But because Bama is just that much better than LSU this year.

He won’t use it in messaging. I imagine it’ll go something like this....

Hey guys they came into our home last year and beat us. We are in their home and let’s blow them out. Do not take this game lightly.

Other position coaches will definitely use the RTWFU to hype up players.

The whole post game locker room thing is more of something thier fan base has put in their heads as fabricated motivation than the actual team. Bama fans think the world revolves around them, and think every team that beats them is fortunate and should only act as such. Celebrating in any form is distasteful and unearned. It’s part of their extreme fragility.

For Saban and his players they’ve built a program that doesn’t need to rely on weird forms of motivation and is a large part of why they’re as good as they are. They’ll beat us, likely by a lot, and it will in no part be because LSU enjoyed what ended up being the 4th most important win of last season.
