Do you give mop up time to Brennan?

How much do you adjust things to allow Burrow to get stats and maybe a Heisman?
Edited a typo.

Burrow should be able to get more than enough stats these next two games in the first 2.5 quarters.
If it's a blow out give some time to MB

Burrow has the Heisman locked up. If he's not playing in a 3rd or 4th quarter it's because he laid down and arse kicking already. Let Brennan clean up.

Burrow until the win is secured. Don’t want to risk injury in a blowout.

I say we do what we have done all year: beat everyone’s arse, in the process Burrow lights it up, let Brennan have his garbage time.
It seems to be working ok to me

Do you think Joe is close to some LSU or SEC records that he might want?
"It's not about stats" sounds nice, but is there an obligation to let him have his fun?

So what, he can hand the ball off for a quarter?
This coaching staff will rue the lack of meaningful snaps they’ve given this kid.

he’s 158 yds from Ro’s single season record (officially, his Sugar Bowl that year doesn’t count)
he’s 20 passing TDs from the LSU career record.

If you want that shite, go back to Hodson/Guidry.. If we get up that much, what will he do other than hand it off behind 2-3 linemen and to 2-3 backs? Hopefully Brennan is soaking up everything he can from being behind Joe. Another three year backup, btw.

yes, with the caveat that Joe's Heisman takes precedence.
Priorities.
How do you keep the balance needed?
- TDs
- Don't worry about yards as long as comp% in that game is high
So... 3 or 4 TDs with him anywhere above 77% comp% is enough to call it good for Heisman purposes.
