Do we not have a WR that can take the top off a defense?

Especially since Boutte's injury. He seems a quarter step slower.

And Chris Hilton is sidelined with an injury. All of our WRs seem like possession receivers.

Maybe it's not a JD problem that he does not throw deep. Maybe it's the lack of speed on the boundary and these guys can't get open.

Lol def not a lack of speed bro. We got burners on the team as well. Boutte and Nabers are burners

Boutte has regressed. I love JD but we still have Nabers and Thomas who you throw it downfield to and they will catch more times than not. JD is scared to do so and I don’t get why because he wasn’t against UF, Ole Miss, and bama and it worked.

we like to stick to taking the bottom off of defenses.

Yes, but Daniels is too scared to throw a 50/50 ball.

JD5 only throws to open receivers standing still

Jenkins can and 20-21 Boutte could but for the 800th year in a row we have a random arse rotation at WR and never have the same 3-4 guys on the field together

Boutte
Nabors
Mason Taylor should always be out there
Jenkins, BTJ, Lacy, Bech should be used accordingly

We need to get BTJ the ball in space more. When he gets moving, lookout

They do. They just don’t have a QB that can

I don’t think it’s the receivers. JD doesn’t seem willing to put the ball up unless he knows his guy is open.

Doesn’t matter if the QB is scared to throw the ball.

12 games into the season and you’re questioning whether it’s Daniels or the receivers?

This is how I know you don’t go to games. Otherwise you would know the answer.

BTJ11 has so much size, speed, and potential. The issue is he always lines up opposite Boutte as the "3rd read" and JD simply cannot get that far along in his progressions to find him. seems most, if not all BTJ11 receptions have been busted play/scrambles and JD throws to him as a last resort.

No! JD has a set of skills; pushing the ball down the field is not one of them.

06, 13 and 19 rotations were essentially 4 guys max. Hell 01 and 07 for that matter. Funny how that works.

Which is why I am terrified he will transfer. JD is literally costing him millions of potential draft $$$. BT checks every box for NFL WR’s but is not being used in our offense.
