I can tell you this much. If the BOS renews Alleva’s contract this summer when it is up then I am DONE with supporting LSU athletics.
I don’t know enough about Alexander’s contract, but he is just as pathetic and toxic as Alleva.

Aleva with his history at Duke probably got WW in touch with Dawkins and introduced WW to the LSU money source.

Both have done a terrible job during their tenures at LSU in terms of making massive public relations mistakes. The general consensus from what I see is that LSU supporters dislike them. I am in that camp as well.
That being said, this mess was unavoidable given the circumstances of the drip drip of the now infamous FBI wiretap. We know about this situation some time ago and did nothing about it. Now, a Yahoo news article brings it back up and Vitale jumps in on it on Twitter and we are now without our coach on the final game of the season.
This could have been handled a lot differently. My guess is that LSU will now be forced to fire Wade and buy out yet another contract with nothing but humiliation to show for it.
This is not the look that any of us want for LSU.

We deserve Michael and Sonny, but we’ve got 2 Fredos. It’s pretty defeating know that you’ll never reach the top of the mountain because you’ve got so much dead weight strapped to your back.
