Did anyone else think it was excessive? Pretty sure many times it went until we were right about to snap the ball. I thought it was a rule that it had to stop once the play clock began. Didn’t seem to affect us too much, though I think it cost us a timeout on a special teams play.

Supposed to be stopped once the team breaks the huddle.

I think it was way overdone, to the point that the whole atmosphere was manufactured.

Went to grad school at UT. No idea why they play Pursuit of Happiness and Mo Bamba so much. The LSU game was very standard.

They also shot the cannon while Atkins was running up for a kickoff. Can’t be legal.

I was thinking the same thing. That was strange.

Whoever the DJ was didn't think it through. They played a few Louisiana centric songs.

Never, and the world would be better for it.

Music was excessive and stopped way too late.

And the cannon was annoying as hell. They fired it once while a kick was in the air to Clyde. If he had fumbled, O would have had a good case for a re-kick.

They shot that cannon off right behind CEH on one of the KO’s while the ball was in flight...

I was wondering how this works. Seemed pretty fricked up that they can fire that cannon during live plays.

Anyone know what the actual rule is?

Absolutely...why take up the room for a band with that shite going on?

The other thing was that fricking cannon. They blew that noisy piece of shite after a kickoff once when LSU was about to field a kick. Just goes to show you that liberals shouldn't discuss firearms without any experience doing it properly.

The music was frustrating. Played it over both bands.... between almost every play. In my opinion it puts the focus on the crowd environment instead of on the game taking place on the field. And it sounded like shite too.

Obnoxious and wildly over done.
