Found a seating chart for DKR (Texas' stadium) for anyone interested. The only visitor sections listed are 119-125 (all upper deck FYI).

I was hoping that LSU would bring the full band to Austin, but that's not happening with so few visitor tickets being allocated.

LSU should return the favor in kind in 2020. Give Texas only 3,800 tickets, with all of them located in the east upper deck.

Should LSU fans be expecting a pretty hostile crowd/visiting experience overall?

Nah, Texas fans are similar to Aggy in the fact that the only time they talk shite is via the keyboard.

Knowing that the trashy LSU fans that never went to LSU won’t be in Austin like they are for home games, I see it staying pretty civil.

I wish but I don't see this happening. Blows my mind that LSU gives so many good seats to visiting team's fans and band.

Tiger Stadium has the best visitor section I’ve ever seen.

For the visitors.

Texas fans won't get in your face and threaten you like Florida fans do. As far as the environment inside the stadium, I think LSU fans will be a bit surprised. It won't be Tiger Stadium loud, but it will be rocking, especially if the game is at night.

UT will only get 3,800 tickets when they come to BR. That has already been stated.

The SEC mandates that a certain number of visitor seats must be located in the lower deck. The Big XII doesn't have that policy. LSU used to give visitors more lower level seating, but they have since moved the majority of those seats to the south end zone upper deck and the east upper.

That's the standard allotment for OOC visiting fans in DKR.

Why would they reduce the number?

it would be shocking if LSU did not bring the full band to the biggest non conference road game probably in LSU history . I think LSU sent out that letter to season ticket holders telling us we would not be able to get tickets in the 3800 allotment because those seats are all going to students, band, faculty, administration, and family of the players. LSU will have at least 15,000 to 20,000 fans scattered in the stadium in addition to our 3800 fans in that dark end zone upper deck. USC brought a pep band last year to sit in Sec 119 and you could see and hear it to some degree but a full band would make a definite sound and visual statement and be crucial to Tiger spirit throughout the stadium.

This will be the first football season in a while where LSU didn't play a game at a neutral site. Those have been the only full band trips. Hopefully, the full band will travel to at least one road game, but I don't see them going to Austin, not with the current band administration. Maybe Woodward will make it happen.

Plan to pay big for shite seats. And the tailgating scene is abysmal.

DKR is basically a decent to bad NFL environment depending on the quality of UT and the opponent

True, but if it's not to a neutral site, it's usually to Ole Miss, Moo State, or Auburn. They've been to Vandy and Florida, but that was years ago.
