“I am taking some time off to focus on a personal matter and just wanted to say thank you to my coaches, teammates, and the entire LSU community for your continued help and support. I am sorry I can't be on the field… “

So what's the issue? I'd personally take care of anything short of a crime for him...and money...I'm broke. I'd just be a should to cry on. But I'd be there.

The rest of the post:

"My goal is to get myself back to 100% in time to graduate in December and be back on the field fighting with my brothers soon.
This is an incredibly difficult time for me, and it means so much to me that so many people have reached out--knowing you all have my back will make the next short while a lot easier. Thank you all.

I got this, I promise you."

I think there’s more to this than just lighting up... he’s a father, tweeted that he had lost the love of the game - I hope whatever is going on in his life improves soon.

That’s pathetic of him. He failed his team at the most critical week of the season. Maybe he should have said he was sorry for letting his teammates down and note made it about himself.

Supposedly his mental health was going downhill and his teammates took it upon themselves to get him help.

If by any chance this is the case, yeah for his teammates helping him.

I understand why everyone would think of weed being the culprit due to the falling out with TM7, but from everything I have seen and heard, the dude was battling was some serious depression issues

Yeah, I could see O having this conversation with him - "Hey, Mike... Uh yeah I know you're going through some shite right now, but if you plan on having some kind of existential crisis or mental breakdown, could you hold off on that until November 10? Thanks, buddy!"

Weed addiction Doesn’t exist.

seen this said countless times over the years, but yet there are countless of examples where people cant seem to quit ...regardless of the consequences or the millions given up.

weed is much more potent than it use to be, I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

He's been in regular/near-constant physical pain from nagging injury(ies) and I fear he's approaching Joe level depression.

Yeah this sounds different than weed. The previous tweet, O's comments at the presser and now this tweet make it seem like Divinity is dealing with something and is getting help. More power to the man.
