re: Did Lee miss class again this week?

It's so true.
The funniest part to me about most of this is that most of the guys who trumpet Lee relentlessly (which is only a small handful of folks) accuse anyone who offers positive words about JJ of doing exactly what they do... all the time... "JJ can do no wrong" "JJ never messes up." Meanwhile anything Lee does wrong it's Les' fault, it's cause it was Bama, it's cause the other guy didn't try hard enough, etc...

I would bet you anything that lee is having academic issues.
From someone close to the program he had missed 18 classes and a project.
ah ok so its perfectly fine for you to make a speculation like that without facts backing it up, but its not fine for me to do the same when reporting what THREE different people who witnesses Jefferson's assault said?

If the coaches would have called a few option play for Lee to Michael Ford, would we have needed Jefferson? He executed it pretty well two weeks ago.
Jeeezzzuuuum, I'll never state that Jefferson is a good a passer as Lee, but for you to think that Lee is anywhere near as good of a runner as Jefferson is absolutely idiotic.
Do you watch tha games? Do the bars of your playpen get in the way of a good view?

And for tyhe record Jefferson has won most games he has played no matter how badly he supposedly as played in your damn eyes. Clowns like you should never support LSU football, you don't wanna see Jefferson start for other reasos and you know it. Miles doesn't know what he is doing by starting Jefferson, so the coach of a school that is unbeaten and trying to win a second NC doesn't know what he is doing?
...JJ has never played bad, it was always someone elses fault....
stupid arse frick.

You answer me this:
Do you really think Jarrett Lee running the option would be able to consistently take the edge on the Alabama defense?
This isn't even a criticism, more as just being rational about his abilities...

When it comes to the academic issues, you have no idea what you are talking about.
I dont give a shite if you believe me or not.

You mean, instead of trying to actually discuss how our players are playing, you are bitching and moaning about who should be the starter?
Where did I say that hoss? I would have bet my paycheck against your school lunch money that JJ was going to start. We would have been better able to measure our progress if we had played South Panola or Madison last night than this shell of an Ole Miss team, so there isn't much to discuss. We beat the crap out of a team we should have, kind of like the rest of the games this season.
You showed your arse spending all those hours tearing JL apart pass by pass after a much bigger win than this was, and you will not live that down. Nice try at deflecting. Too bad so many people saw that thread. At least you have something to be remembered by, even if it is negative. Too bad you will never be able to get those hours of your childhood back.

Thats how it has been the last 2 years. WR drops a pass from Lee and the WR HAS to catch that. WR drops a pass from JJ and its a terrible throw. I don't care if people like one more than the other, but its this inconsistency in evaluating them that drives me nuts.

I actually think Lee is the better option against a DL that can't much pressure on the QB.
I just think it's hilariously funny that people think Lee is somehow getting mistreated.

And there are people saying JJ had nothing to do with the kicking.
Bottom line is, they have nothing on JJ or he wouldn't be playing... as much as that kills you to hear it Mrs. Lee

You realize that against the only legit defenses we have played this year that Lee wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire, right?

you didn't answer mine tool bag
yea I think there is something going on between Miles and Jefferson. to what extent? possibly a father/son type of relationship? maybe more? I don't know, but there is something else going on more than just a player/coach relationship because nothing else explains his infatuation with such a below average player.
now answer mine.

IMO, there's nothing to "live down" by me analyzing LSU football.
If that's embarrassing or stupid, well, I'm fine with being embarrassed by it, because it's a great passion of mine.
What's seemed to escape you about that entire post is that it just so happened to be about Jarrett Lee. You seem to believe it was all just some hit piece on Lee that I just so desperately wanted to drag him through the mud to prove my unquestioned love for Jordan Jefferson.
But there's no sense in me trying to explain this to you... again.
So I'll say it again, the fact that you think it's more embarrassing that I'd actually analyze/discuss play on the field, but somehow acceptable for you to post barbershop bullshite hearsay about our players... off the field... is miserable.

my infatuation is standing up for what is morally and ethically right.

He did exactly what the coaches asked him to do. We were averaging 40 points a game when he was benched. Do you think that is enough to beat most of the teams we play?
We scored 6 points in regulation against a near NFL caliber defense (actually, watching some of the drives against the Saints this year, I am insulting Alabama). Everyone else, game was never, ever in doubt. Exactly why I have enjoyed this season so much more than last year.
