Devin white is irreplaceable, but without him our defense is almost as good. His backups are absolute ballers as well. LB was not an issue last year even without white. Our only problem on D was a average line, and no edge rusher for our 3-4 scheme. REMEMBER, OUR DEFENSE AS A WHOLE WILL BE BETTER THIS YEAR. EVEN WITHOUT DEVIN WHITE. With another year of experience, all of our lineman back, and chassion back from injury, we will be better. Let that sink in for a moment.

The only thing holding this team back from the playoffs is our o-line and inexperience at WR, and mediocre RB play. All of those should be much improved this year.

Thanks for everything Devin, we all loved you ay LSU. Good luck, and ball out!!!

We comin' baws!!!

LSU lost their best player at every level in 2010 when PatPete, Drake Nevis, and Kelvin Shepphard left. 2011 was arguably the best defense in school history.

It's all about the guys you have returning.

It doesnt matter if you lose your 2 best players, when the next man up is on par and every other player is going to be better. Every position as a whole should be as good of better next year on both sides of the ball!!!

The fact that Dylan Moses could even play on our two deep proves how deep we are

I have to constantly remind myself of how good this defense was this year

WITHOUT Klavon Chiassion

SEC Offense will have their fricking hands full next year.

The only problem I see that may pop up is leadership roles for the Defense overall and for the LB core specifically. I think Lawrence, Fehoko, Delpit and maybe Phillips could take that role but it needs to start now. What I would like to see is entire units holding each other accountable. I think the Offense will be fine as for as leadership except maybe the WR room but we also have 3 and 4 year players there as well. Plus I just believe Joe Burrow will lead them all and hold them all accountable.

I think the coaches should be more intense this offseason knowing that all this talent is coming back to take full advantage of this year. They don't come around often so we have to take full advantage at every level. Plus it will only help the younger guys to develop faster than they would anyway.

It's time to make the freshman work their tails off in the offseason so that they're ready come the next season. Hopefully we see some surprises from some of the young guys. Go Tigers!!

Another example is we lost Brady James after 2002 and the 03 defense was even better.

DevIn has only skimmed the service as far as things he can accomplish. His upside is limitless.

Do True! Devin is such a hard worker, sky is limit. I predict rookie Defensive MVP ,if he stays injury free.

Chaisson got a RS this past season because of the injury, didn't he?

Yes, but that may be pretty meaningless.
