The Heisman trophy theoretically should be awarded to the most dominate player in the nation, regardless of whether it's on offense or defense. There's no clear candidate for this year's award. Why not Devin White? If not 2017, why not begin his 2018 campaign? He should at least be in the discussion.

Maybe next year if he is our short yardage back and an all American linebacker.

That's what I'm saying.

If we don't recruit a big back he can be our ~5 carries a game short yardage back. Probably could get a good number of touchdowns.

That coupled with 130 tackles and a few HOLY shite plays and he could very well be in the race.

I truly believe this board can get his name in the race. You hear this Ponamsky?!?

Ok now we are getting a little carried away . An inside backer is never winning the Heisman guys .

All he has to do is pretend to be a homosexual. He'll win the Heisman going away.

If he singlehandedly beats Bama and breaks two of their RBs in half, he could get an invite.

Otherwise, maybe next year.

I think he could make all-american as a sophomore if he keeps this up and stays healthy.
