Opposing teams, when the line would do their shifts, you could hear them yelling to each other to stay where they were. It was all window dressing.

Canada's "system" didn't fool good defenses. Just a fact.

Doesn’t seem like that would work.

It's because canada doesn't run anything creative out of the shifts. He just moves guys around to run basic plays. Malzahn is more creative

The average football fan could figure out the motions were not doing a damn thing...

Now you’ve done it. The rant convinced themselves that he was the best coordinator in football.

And yesterday Herbert was calling Canada a whiner for going to Alleva after the Troy loss. Stunned those two would blame Canada.

The shifts are in service of the reads, they largely aren't used to fool a defense. To be clear, there are some shifts that are for decoy or deceptive purposes, but the garden variety shifting is to help the offense with their reads.

But leading up to the Citrus, ND's Def Coordinator said Canada's offense is a nightmare for opposing defenses and now he's in the SECw at aTm. Suck it faggies

Such bull shite they come out publicly and trash him now. What were they saying when the hire was made. I bet they thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I know when I'm running around, it's much easier for me to read an opponent

I hoped he would be... just as I will hope that our next OC is the most successful OC we ever hire. Don't care who it is
