Wade needed a post player bad this year. Dont understand why Thomas quit the team. This is Cooper’s 2nd year and hes still not ready. If hes not good enough to play, then give him the axe.

Thomas is still on the team

Cooper won’t be on the team next year. Thomas couldn’t get medically cleared to play. You can thank our last AD for having a short bench this season. Wade has done a pretty good job with the pieces he has.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but other than Quionnes at Memphis who did LSU miss out on because of JA? They still signed Watford and JA was long gone by the time Dante committed/signed with Oregon.

Dante was all LSU and then was scared off from the FBI stuff.

He didn’t sign until August. Wade had long been reinstated and Alleva was long gone. A fellow 5 star, Watford, had already signed. And it’s not like Oregon hadn’t already beaten LSU head-to-head in a recruiting battle WELL before the FBI stuff broke (CJ Walker).
Certainly the FBI stuff didn’t help, but I think it’s impact as been overblown in an effort to avoid criticism that Wade (although he’s done a great job resurrecting the program overall) has done a poor job getting his teams to defend at LSU. Quinones would have (likely) added a good outside shooter this team could use. But as we’ve seen, offense has NEVER been a problem for LSU under Wade
