GM? Nah he's part of the shadow staff. All jokes aside, he is probably picking up on some of what Thomas did in the past, unfortunate as that may sound.
Mind me asking why everybody hates him? I don't know him and assume he's an ahole based on what I read here.

He went from being a radio personality to O's personal assistant when he was hired because he jockeyed in the media for O to get the job. He's also a convicted felon. Not only is he completely unqualified to work in the AD, he personifies everything that is shady about O and our administration.
