I really hope he stays...we are an OC and QB away from having an incredible team and with the talent we will bring in this class...we will easily be competing for a BCSNC in each of the next four to five years

LSU should be able to challenge for the NC next year.

Why not this year? With the exception of one position, this is a NC team. Unfortunately, this one position has been horrible for three straight years now. To hell with next year .... we should be winning this year.

I agree with you. LSU should have been able to challenge for the SEC this year. The conference is down this year, and LSU has an experienced team.

LSU will be more experienced next year. I don't have high hopes, just sayin.

I'm from Louisiana and I've lived in the West/Mountain West for many moons now. If it weren't for my children and my job - I'd be back home in a HEARTBEAT!!

Visiting an area versus living in an area doesn't compare properly. Sure, it's beautiful country but when that first snow dumps on your arse and the temps drop to single digits...you'll wish you were back in the south. Plus we have a different way of life in the south and it's something that's not prevalent out here. The sporting life is different, the nightlife is different...etc.

I'm not saying it's not a nice place to live but it's different than what you're used to.

You either missed or skipped the part where I said in lived in CO for 9 years (left out that I lived in MT for 2 yrs). If I had to choose, I would go back to CO in a heartbeat. I prefer cold over heat any day. As for the nightlife, there is no place in the U.S. quite like NOLA...much like the uniqueness of the food.

ETA: I just noticed you list your area as SLC. I used to travel there once a month. That place is VERY different than Denver, Boulder, etc. You have the LDS stranglehold on fun in SLC.

I hear you!!!

This team surprised me. I didn't think we would be as good as we are. Unfortunately, the one thing that is holding us back right now, will most likely be holding us back next year, too. It is tough to win without a good QB. Not to say it can't be done, but it sures makes things tough.

Hey TigerDom you must be one of these bleeding heart pussies who want everybody to come this country and take a big shite on it. Well I'm not one of them.

There's nothing wrong with speaking Spanish and yes I can speak the language. What's ignorant about what I said.

There's a right way to come in this country and many immigrants do it the right way but many don't. If you think most of these people (wets) oh wait (illegal immigrant I wouldn't want to upset the likes of TigerCum) just want to do the right thing you're sadly mistaken.

Why don't you take your arse to the southern boder or better yet step into Mexico to pay a visit. I bet you won't be so open minded then. I call them wets because when there running guns, dope and smuggling people across the river they come out the river and there wet. That's how the name came about.

Geaux Tigers!! and TigerDom you're either a wet yourself or a freakin little pansy who's never stepped out of his dormroom.

obviously the season isn't over and lsu could see offensive improvement but, i think for whatever reason, crowton isn't working out. 4 seasons now and the offense is in the tank. the o line still can't pass block, the qb's are frankly not good, the receivers are dropping crucial passes every game, there seem to be more substition problems than there should be. i think lsu needs to go in a completely new direction on offense.

the passing game is the last link in the nc puzzle for lsu.

I want a new Bentley as much as CU might want Les to be their coach.

Neither of us can afford what we want. I get a Chevy and CU will get someone they can pay what LSU pays the guy who mows the grass in Tiger Stadium. It is what it is.

Ignorance is bliss ... yet lower echelon intellects are still prone to prove their manhood. You should just wallow in it and spare us the diatribe of another internet wannabe.

Additionally, Boulder is a nice place to raise a family (beautiful surroundings, lots of good schools, exceptionally clean, very little poverty, etc)

Everything Louisiana and Baton Rouge mostly AREN'T. That's a fact, regardless of whether the home bodies like it or not.......

even if you are right, which you probably aren't, it doesn't matter how many. it matter who. the people who hold the purse strings realize that the "anti miles crowd" does not have reasonable expectations.

Seen a lot of crazy stuff in this thread, but there's one thing that YOU can't overcome in situations like these:

numbers.

Ask Joe Alleva how that letter went when he asked the fans to stop booing. How did that turn out? They stop playing Neck. Chant goes on anyway. Numbers will win every time. So it certainly DOES matter how many.

Love that area. I used to live on High St near DU....and miss it greatly. Got any connections on jobs?

I actually live close to sushi den, not wash park but for some reason many people don't know where sushi den is.

No tips on a job but the job market here isn't that bad.

with no leadership at the QB position, questionable leadership from the head coaching position and no leadership from the OC position.....while we should, it's likely we won't.

That sucks. My back hurts. I'll be right over. Damn I miss it even more.

I will be planning a vacation out there some time in '11. I plan on starting the job search in January. I hope to meet you next year!
