It's Brennan.

How so? This is Denbrock’s first year here. A new offense for everyone, Brennan included

Yep, Brennan knows offense under Ed. This is an entirely new animal and he doesn't have some advantage over the other, more dynamic, QBs.

LSU’s OC Denbrock explained “we’re best offensively “ when the LSU quarterback has a deep understanding of the playbook

He fought off the supernatural, the ghosts that shoved him down the stairs and the old Civil War generals, in full regalia, that stood over his bed watching him sleep. No, really, his mom said: The property — the one she’s standing on right now, on this sun-splashed Wednesday — is haunted, and the house was, too.

According to Jack Bech and Malik Nabers, when Nuss is not working out with the team or throwing the ball to the receivers, he's spending all of his free time watching film.

Nah, Brennan is fishing, chasing poontang, or hunting.

Myles has been here so long that complacency will be his biggest hurdle
He does that pelvic thrust dance so well though.
That said, it's his job to lose.

Dude, we have NEW:
Head Coach
OC
QB Coach
on and on.
Every one is in their first year with the playbook.

That rules out Myles
you may be right, but only time will tell.
I have maintained that this is exactly where Myles' advantage lies. He does not have any "real" classes to take. The others QBs do. This allows for his full time and attention to be football.
whether he does this or not is the questions.

We've seen from pervious off-seasons that his full time and attention has never been devoted to football. It didn't change this off-season either.

Nuss is the one that is always watching film..

The only advantage Brennan has is all the coaching changes he's been through already. This his 4th OC if you include Brady, 3 if you don't. It doesn't matter as much that this is his 6th year, since this is a completely new staff and all the QBs are starting from scratch.
But this is what I expected from the coaches, pick the guy who can best manage the game come that Sunday against FSU. The coaches picking the right QB will be the biggest factor in deciding whether we win or lose that game.

That's assuming that the offense doesn't change dramatically.
It's a totally new offense. No reason to assume he would know it better than Nuss or Daniel

"Young fellers, back in my day we would shift the tackles and tight ends 3 times then hand a fly sweep off to Russell Gage for a 3 yard loss while Coach O screamed at Matt Canada through his headset."

that's a huge assumption to make.
i could counter that with, the brennan family isn't hurting for funds, so the fact that he is still here proves he has a want for it....drive, so to speak.
plus, he was tutored by tGOAT, and the portion of the season he played he showed promise (horrible line and defense that year).

“We’re best offensively when the quarterback is controlling the keys to the Ferrari, and he can adjust it from time to time…we love to give him the freedom to do that if they earned it.”
This bodes well for Brennan. Not saying he wins the job, but his schedule lends the best to being able to set up shop in the Football Operations building and learning the playbook better than the younger guys.
We shall see

the Ferrari,

Playbook is obviously important but just as important is reading defenses.
