Someone’s gotta take him. Xavier McKinney is the reliable important piece of a great Defense. Delpit is the Star and the leader.

Tell him to come back and play another year.

He's being hurt by no pro day, all they have to go by is his tape & while they know he was hurt they cant really quantify to what extent that impacted the performance without looking at him up close. Sucks for the kid no doubt.

Xavier McKinney

I don’t get it, the guy is a liability in coverage. He’s a fantastic player at the LOS but will get absolutely torched in the league in coverage.

That being said, Delpit’s play was a liability all season long. He’s a top 10 pick talent that played poorly...due to injury or whatever.

It’s crazy how the draft works. Stock is up! Stock is down! Stock is up! HE’S FALLING LIKE A ROCK.

These guys haven’t played in months. The combine was weeks and weeks ago. Do they watch one day and say...man he’s good! And then the next day, oh he’s not any good.

Top 20 draft pick on Friday. Falling out of the first round on Monday...and not a single thing has changed.

Would imagine tape of his performance in the Vandy game did him no favors. Those 3 long runs, up the middle, and him laying on the ground, missed tackles, were an ugly site.

Honestly most mocks have had him in the 2nd round for a while now.

He was regarded as a first round pick based on his play in 2018. He has been falling at a fast rate due to people watching his poor play in 2019. Teams are skeptical to invest a first round pick on a player that was very inconsistent. I have not seen him in the first round in a while, this is not a new development

In some ways, it's better for the player to get drafted in the second round than in the first round. Teams can lock first round picks up for five years, but can only lock up second round picks for four years. In other words, second round picks get to free agency -- the big money -- faster.

Hopefully, the smarter teams realize he played 2019 with injuries. Look at the 2018 tales & really see what he can do. A steal for someone if he falls out of the first round.

Marucci is apparently saying he played through a high ankle sprain all year. In hind sight, he probably should have sat out for 3 or 4 weeks, but we had a bunch of people out after texas for 3 or 4 weeks. He wears a special number and tried his best.
Only time will tell. He has a chance to prove himself over the next few years.

nobody that matters has weighed in on this publicly. mock drafts are purely for entertainment. stop acting like they're real life.

He just would not put his shoulder into his tackles enough and went for too many shoestring tackles. He just did not smack the frick out of enough people. I don’t know if he was scared to get called for targeting, scared to get hurt or what it was but he did not bust people’s arse like he did in 2018.
