I still cant believe how no one has pointed out that the 15th best class out of 120 teams is not a class in the top 10% lol. I understand the point he was trying to make, but that is just factually wrong lol

11.5% is a lot closer to 10% than a lot of the fact percentage to rumor/made up shite percentage on this board. The poster should be applauded not shamed.

ETA: The 11.5% is based on finishing 15th out of the 130 teams in the FBS not 120.

You stupid??? I have NEVER got the idea of STARS on HS players... So what.... Its ALL about how you develop them when the players are much better that they have to play against..........

I have seen coaches turn a so-called 5 star into A 3 star and I have seen coaches turn A 3 star into A 5 star...........

It happens all the time...........

No just wondering why you are replying to my post in which I was having a conversation with another poster about the percentile in which the LSU class finished.

Defense will be fine for most games and for 3 quarters of big games. But without an offense the defense gets beat down and quits. Happens every year. And this year our running game will suffer and we don’t have a proven QB still.

Like I said I understand the point he was making , that it's not so bad being 15 out of 120 or 130. Just stating that his math was wrong. How is pointing out that someone is Irrefutably wrong on the math they used "shaming them?"

For the record I don't believe things are as good as the pumpers say, nor as bad as the negatigers believe, so I really don't have a dog in this fight.

I hink We’re better on DL because we’re adding Fehoko and Shelvin. I think They’ll play better than Lacouture and Gilmore who they are replacing. I also Think Lawrence and Alexander improve.

Fehoko Lawrence Alexander should be an improvement over Lacouture Gilmore and Lawrence.

Shelvin will be a good backup or possibly starts. Aranda says good things about him too.

Shelvin

Did he get all of the required credits to participate this spring? I keep seeing his name mentioned as a difference maker, but I never read/heard where he'd taken care of business in the classroom.

He’s been enrolled at LSU for s semester and took an academic redshirt.
He shouldn’t have an eligibility problem at this point

That's the thing the poster seems to be missing. He keeps posting screen shots of where coaches had clock gaffes. But, it is usually a one-off deal for those guys.

bullshite. i posted multiple article about clock mismanagement being rampant by the best football coaches on the planet.

but by all means bash an accomplished lsu hc so you can prop up a lsu hc that isnt qualified to run Vandy's defense.

Having a Biletnikoff award candidate pretty much guarantees improvement to the WR corps.

like having the only Offensive coordinator to be a finalist for the Broyles award was gonng guarantee the improvement on offense?

Be disappointed if you want, but the #15 class in the nation is not as bad as you sad-sacks would like others to believe.

For example these are Clemson's class rankings;
2013: 15 Clemson
2014: 16 Clemson
2015: 9 Clemson
2016: 11 Clemson
2017: 16 Clemson

Clemson
clemson plays 1 program that is consistently a top 15 program.

since 2011 the acc has had 9 teams finishin the top 10

Since 2011 clemsonhas played
since 5 acc teams that finished top 10

LSU

since 2011 the sec has had 17 teams finish in the top 10

since 2011 lsu has played 12 sec teams that finished top 10.

Articulation is one of Aranda’s strong points, and clearly not one of O’s. Not that that’s surprising.
